Times Higher Education World University Rankings create university rankings to assess individual universities’ performance on a global scale and providing well-equipped information for students, families, and academics alike. THE Rankings cover three core areas of university activities: research, impact, and teaching.

The Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Birmingham commented on this positive change in rankings in THE Rankings, saying ‘Our rise in this year’s THE World University Rankings recognises the University of Birmingham as one of the world’s leading universities; highlighting the importance and impact of our research, the international experience and outlook of our students, and our global footprint.’
