Hey Hey! I am Fisayo, a current MA Creative Writing student at the University of Birmingham. I love writing about anything that interests me from stories to articles :)

Le Sserafim is one of the biggest fifth-generation K-pop groups. Gaining massive attention after their MTV Video Music Awards pre-show performance, Le Sserafim is the group to tune into. Whether you are new to K-pop or not, I will walk you through the basics of Le Sserafim.

Le Sserafim is a five-member girl group that debuted on May 2nd, 2022, under Hybe and Source Music. The members are Kim Chaewon (the leader), Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. Chaewon and Sakura were formerly in IZ*ONE, a group formed from the top 12 of the survival show Produce 48. Yunjin was also on Produce 48 but did not make the lineup. To get into Le Sserafim, I suggest watching the music videos for all their title tracks. There are just five, so it should not take up your time.

Title Tracks

Their debut song is ‘Fearless,’ a fun song with the catchy line ‘I’m Fearless’ (which Le Sserafim is an anagram of). If you are confused about why there are six members in this video, someone unfortunately had to leave early in this era. Then there is ‘Antifragile’ which has the famous Kazuha leg raise and a chorus you will want on repeat.

To get into Le Sserafim, I suggest watching the music videos for all their title tracks.

‘Unforgiven’ is next, collaborating with the famous Nile Rogers on the addicting Wild West-type beat. The video is also fun to watch. Now we have ‘Easy,’ a more chill hip-hop song with amazing choreography. It is a bit different from their first three titles, but equally as exciting.

Finally is ‘Crazy’, their newest release. It is a house-pop anthem backed with amazing visuals and voguing. You will definitely want to be ‘girling girling’ at the end of the video.

Concluding thoughts

If you enjoyed what you watched, you can dive deeper into the lore by listening to their albums. You can listen to them in whatever order you prefer. Named after the title tracks, the albums are Fearless, Antifragile, Unforgiven, Easy, and Crazy. Have fun!
