FLO are a newly emerging girl group, composed of Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma and Renée Downer. I have loved every song they have released so far in their early discography, as their sound is so unique. Their sound is a pop and R&B fusion as well as heavy focus on each girl’s vocals. Their brand new single ‘Walk Like This’ emulates the true meaning of confidence.

The group exclusively told Complex the behind the scenes action of the song, including songwriting and collaborating with exclusive artist MNEK in the process. ‘It’s full of energy, good vibes and we love it!’ they say and this is portrayed within the lyrics. ‘There’s a reason I walk like this (I walk) / Side to side with a sway in my hip (Sway, sway)’ shows how the girls emulate the confidence and trust within their relationship alongside the upbeat instrumentals.

I’m very excited to see what is to come next for them as their talents deserve to be recognised hugely

The song is similar to the rest of FLO’s discography, such as their debut single ‘Cardboard Box’ and their hit with Missy Elliot ‘Fly Girl’. I’m very excited to see what is to come next for them as their talents deserve to be recognised hugely.
